A young northern plains Indian girl, (circa 1840s) dressed for a special occasion, walks on a prairie where the breeze caresses her hair and lifts her blanket. She spreads her arms, with the blanket and walks into the southerly breeze, half closing her eyes, as she imagines herself floating above the sea of grass.
